Disability Issues and the Church

Web Accessibility:

Are your church and or ministry web sites 508* compatible? Is a person with a disability who requires web accessibility welcomed on your ministry websites?

You may say, Oh, but we have no one in our congregation with a disability. Remember, the web has no boundaries. Define the purpose and objective of your website.. The overwhelming purpose of your website is to become an outreach tool and network in the Christian community. Review your biblical mandate.

John 7:37 ”On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.” The operative word here is (all).

Accessibility for people with disabilities is a Biblical mandate. Private institutions are exempt from the federal requirements.  However, we the body of Christ should lead the world by example.
