STEM Education: The Challenge For The Future Of Students with Disabilities

Students with disabilities cannot be left out of the equation of STEM Education. It is imperative if they are to compete and bridge the gap between themselves and their counterparts without disabilities for future careers. Let’s make sure that students are not pigeonholed by old stereotypes and told they can’t. Technology makes it now possible that students with disabilities can perform to the highest level in the classroom.

President Obama has called for an improvement in Stim education goals and outcomes to prepare our students to compete on the world scene in regards to science, technology, engineering and math. The challenges is that students with disabilities will have the same opportunities.
